Travel following Covid

Published 7th July 2021

Once we are allowed to travel again we will need to plan our travel itinerary carefully to ensure we are well prepared for the changes to the World.

Vaccination - If possible have both Covid vaccinations prior to travel. Booster if advised.

It is important to check you are fully vaccinated to protect from other infections at your destinations.

Covid Testing

Once the regulations for each country are released you will need to check what tests are required for you to gain entry to that country.

You will not be able to travel if you do not have a negative Covid test.

You will need to organise the test before you travel to ensure the results are available prior to leaving the country.

Lateral Flow Tests. These can be done at home and the results are available within 30 minutes.

PCR tests - These need to be done by a laboratory.

Insurance

Make sure you have adequate insurance to cover all medical eventualities. Also consider cancellation due to Covid infections or a change in the regulations for your chosen destination.

PPE

Ensure you take adequate PPE with you to minimise your risks of contracting the virus while away.
