About Us

We are an established occupational health business based in Bradford on Avon, our company has developed over the years in response to the needs of our clients and customers. We have grown from one Occupational Health Physician twenty years ago to now having three Occupational Health Physicians and a team of Occupational Health Nurses and Technicians to provide an extensive range of services. We pride ourselves in developing close relationships with our customers, providing professional advice and a responsive service. By understanding your business needs we aim to provide reports tailored to your individual employees and the specific roles and tasks of your workforce.

Every employer has a legal duty of care to all their employees. All employers will be aware of the statutory obligations including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health), RIDDOR       (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations), and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.

An Occupational Health Service can help your business achieve these legal requirements, give advice on health and wellbeing in the workplace, help you manage sickness absence and a safe return to work for employees following illness, injury or an operation.

Our experienced doctors and nurses can assess your employees and assist your management of health-related absence and planning a return to work.
Our aim is to deliver an informed and independent report shared within a prompt time-frame. We provide a professional, impartial opinion on fitness for work, including advice on adjustments and where appropriate, guidance on the Equality Act (2010).

When providing health surveillance, we will work with you following your Health and Safety Risk assessment to develop a programme that ensures your employees are adequately assessed on a regular basis following evidence-based guidelines. If possible, we will come to your workplace to provide the health surveillance. This will minimise the loss of productivity for your workforce.

Your workforce will also need to be assessed for various activities to ensure they meet the relevant standards, e.g. to drive a heavy goods vehicle or fork lift truck. They may need a vocational medical such as HSE Diving, or Asbestos medicals for those involved in licensed asbestos work. We are able to provide a very wide range of medical assessments and will be able to discuss your requirements with you.

Before a new employee joins your workforce, we are able to offer a telephone or face to face assessment to advise you of any particular problems they may encounter in their new role and reasonable adjustments you can make to support them.
