Jackie Parker
Managing Director
Occupational Health Nurse Manager
RN OHNC
Jackie qualified from St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington in 1987 and completed her occupational health nurse training in 1993. Since then Jackie has worked in a wide range of occupational health settings including local government, public services, the food industry, steel foundry and telecommunications.
Jackie joined the team in 2014 and took over as Managing Director in July 2023.
Jackie specialises in developing an excellent relationship with all our customers to ensure they are supported and receive the service they require.
Dr James Heffer
Occupational Health Physician
MA MSc BM BCh Dip Occ Med DDAM Cert HAVs
Dr Heffer studied medicine at Oxford University and qualified in 1982. He trained in general practice and since 1990 has also worked as an Occupational Health Physician.
He holds diplomas in Occupational Medicine as well as Disability Assessment Medicine. He is an approved doctor under the Lead Regulations, Ionising Radiation Regulations and holds the Certificate in Hand Arm Vibration (HAVS) assessment.
He believes that successful companies depend on the health and well being of their workforce to give long term prosperity to individual workers, the company and the nation. His aim is to support companies to achieve these outcomes.
James started providing an occupational health service for local business about 20 years ago when he realised there was no service available on the NHS. He has developed our customer base and enjoys visiting each workplace.
Dr Joanna Fitzgerald
Occupational Health Physician
MBBS BSc MSc DipOccMed
Jo joined our team in early 2024 and completed her Diploma in Occupational Medicine in February 2025. She studied medicine at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s in London, qualifying in 2013. She also has a BSc in Psychology and MSc in Entrepreneurship, Science and Technology from the University of Nottingham.
Most recently, Jo has spent several years working in occupational health-related roles in military recruitment and as the medical lead for a global professional services organisation, supporting employees with their health and wellbeing.
Prior to training as a doctor, Jo also completed a management accounting qualification and spent several years working as a management consultant for a large professional services firm and as a project manager for a government organisation.
Jo is passionate about both helping individual employees to address their physical and psychological health in the workplace and working with organisations on a strategic level to support the health and wellbeing of employees on a wider scale.
Dr Rebecca Salmon
Occupational Health Physician
BmedSci BMBS MRCGP DipOccMed
Dr Salmon trained at The University of Nottingham Medical School, qualifying in 2005. She spent time working in New Zealand and also volunteered as a doctor at the London 2012 Olympics.
She qualified as a GP in 2011 and continues to work as an Associate GP in Bradford on Avon.
She completed her training in Occupational Medicine at Birmingham University in 2015 and subsequently gained her Diploma in Occupational Medicine.
She joined the team in 2017 and is enjoying helping clients address their health in the workplace.
Pip Keogh
Occupational Health Nurse
ADULT NURSING BSC Hons, Leadership and Management Dip and AMSPAR Dip.
Pip qualified as a Registered Nurse in January 2019 whilst serving in the British Army. Pip’s Military career spanned 15 years as a Combat Medical Technician and transferring to be a Registered Nurse after her deployment to Afghanistan.
Pip enjoys working in a variety of clinical settings including hospitals and medical practices as well as deployment abroad in a medical capacity.
Pip joined Workplace Wellness in July 2024, to take up the role of Occupational Health Nurse. Pip’s knowledge and experience of occupational health is in the Military, both whilst serving and in her civilian employment.
Pip is looking forward to increasing her medical knowledge and sharing her experience with both her patients and her colleagues.
Linda Hill
Office Manager
Linda qualified from college with a Business Diploma and professional typing qualifications. Linda has worked in both administration and customer service roles in the business and education sectors before joining the team in May 2015. Linda has vast experience in administration having worked in a very busy dental surgery prior to putting her wide range of skills to use in her current role.
Linda is always happy to help, she enjoys the team spirit at Workplace Wellness and endeavors to find a solution for any situation!
Linda strives to deliver a professional and high standard of service to customers. She will respond quickly and efficiently to any queries that may arise, to ensure that the customer’s satisfaction is a priority, in a friendly and courteous manner.
Kathryn Sinclair
Administrator
Kathryn graduated from Secretarial College with professional qualifications in Business, Shorthand & Typing. Kathryn has worked in both the private & public sectors gaining vast experience in sectors as diverse as the Media, Finance & Manufacturing.
Kathryn joined the team at Workplace Wellness in September 2020 and quickly settled into her role as Administrator. Kathryn has many years’ experience in customer service roles and is focused on maintaining the high standard of service expected by Workplace Wellness.
Kathryn is professional and efficient and will respond to your queries in a timely manner.
Courtney Adams
Administrator
After leaving school Courtney worked in various roles within the retail and education sectors before joining Workplace Wellness in November 2021.
Having applied for the government scheme ‘Kickstart’ she landed an administration job at Workplace Wellness and is now a permanent employee.
Courtney has gained qualifications in Level 2 Principle of Business administration and Level 2 in Understanding Data Protection and Data Security.
Courtney has been learning lots of new skills and is keen to continue with this within the company.
Courtney is keen to help but if she can’t, she will always find someone who can.
